Meetings usually start at 7.30pm and are held in the side meeting room at North Stainley Village Hall.

The agendas for each meeting are displayed in the 'Meeting Documents' tab to the left of this page, and on the noticeboard at the old shop/garage. Agendas are published at least three clear days before a meeting and should be checked for any changes to the date, time and venue.

The Parish Council meets six times a year for 'ordinary' meetings when a full agenda of business is considered. These meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November.

'Planning' meetings are held on the second Tuesday of other months. These meetings are only held if there are new planning applications or other urgent items of business to consider. If no agenda is displayed then no meeting will be held.

The Parish Council holds two 'Annual Meetings'. The first is the Annual Parish Meeting, held on the second Tuesday in April. This is a meeting of the electors of the parish and offers an opportunity to come together and find out what's been happening during the past year. Community groups are invited to submit reports on their activities.  The second is the Annual Parish Council Meeting - the AGM of the Parish Council - held on the second Tuesday in May. This is a formal meeting to deal with procedural matters such as appointing officers and committee members for the forthcoming year and approving the previous year's accounts.
